Why investors love Texas

The past two years has been full of tremendous growth in the State of Texas but most especially in the DALLAS FORTH WORTH (D-FW) Metroplex. This trend has been predicted to continue in the next five -10years.

One of the factors that continues to make the Dallas-Fort Worth a big metropolitan city in Texas highly sought with estimated population of 7.4 Million people is its strong and booming business community. Since 2010, Dallas has added more than one million new residents – growth fueled by the relocation of 120 corporate headquarters, local company expansion and creation of more than 800,000 new jobs.

Dallas is home to 24 Fortune 500 companies, D-FW is the only market in the United States with Three Fortune 10 companies in one state – Exxonmobil (3), Mckesson (6) and AT&T with nine offices-Dallas Regional Chamber 2019 edition.

So what makes this U.S city different from the rest? Location, location, location.

Dallas Region enjoys prime geographical location. Conveniently positioned in the middle of the United States allows it to function as a logistics and distribution hub. The Dallas- Fort Worth is a major international gateway and DFW International Airport is the nation’s fourth-busiest airport. This prime central location is serving as a central hub for rail, freight, air and highway traffic.

One of the reasons why Amazon (The digital retail giant) with about 18 Million square feet of building space is expanding its Dallas footprint again in the Galleria Office Towers- Dallas Morning Newspaper January 28th, 2020.Amazon has grown its offices in the high-rise complex to more than 150,000 square feet since 2014 and recently announced Fort Worth Alliance Airport as it’s air hub.
